Cromar Bitumen Primer is a professional-grade, cold-applied solution designed to seal and prime porous substrates before applying bituminous waterproofing systems, vapour control layer  or membranes. Its low-viscosity formula penetrates deeply, reducing surface absorbency and improving adhesion.

Ideal for use on concrete, masonry, metal, asbestos cement, slate, lightweight screeds, and OSB boards, this versatile primer ensures a uniform base for roofing, damp-proofing, and general waterproofing applications.

Coverage:

• Metal: 6 – 12 m² per litre

• Concrete: 6 – 8 m² per litre

• Lightweight screeds/asbestos: 3.5 – 5 m² per litre

• OSB: 3.5 – 6 m² per litre

A 5L tin covers approx. 17.5 – 60 m², depending on substrate porosity.
